The New Pornographers is a Juno Award-winning Canadian indie rock group formed in 1997 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Their sound is highly influenced by such power pop bands as The Cars and Cheap Trick, although their songs are generally of a greater melodic and harmonic complexity. Their new album is amazing (Challengers) so make sure to check this out!

Do Make Say Think is a Canadian instrumental post-rock band from Toronto, Ontario. Their music combines jazz style drums and space style electronic effects, distorted guitars and wind instruments as well as a prominent use of the bass guitar. They are very closely associated with Broken Social Scene and have put out more than 5 albums since 1996.
